Black Tulip Poses @ Pose Fair 2015

Every once in a while you stumble across a pose store that you have noticed before but never had the lindens to buy any of the poses. Luckily this year I came ready with a ton of lindens in my pocket to Pose Fair. I grabbed 3 great pose sets from Black Tulip and I would love to show you each of them. This time around I only selected a minimum of 2-3 poses for each set. Each pose pack comes with a set of 6 poses including mirror copies of each pose.

In the image above, I am using the poses from the Beauty #4 Pose Set. I really loved how each pose was unique and showcased the lovely curves of the avatar. What I love even more was that it accommodated avatars with more curvy features. A lot of times I find my hands inside my head or my hips and in this pose pack I did not have that problem.

Every once in a while a pose set like “Solitude” comes in handy when you are trying to portray emotions with your pictures. There were several great poses in this set. I chose only 2 to showcase because I loved these 2 the most.

These lovely “Standing by the window” pose set are amazing. They have some rather unique poses I have not seen in other stores. I loved that many of the poses gave you that look as if you are looking out into oblivion.

Dream Print – Pose Fair 2015

On April 11th, 2015 at noon SL Time, Pose Fair will officially open its doors to the public. I am happy to showcase a new to me store called “Dream Print”.

I have to admit that the booth itself is what caught my eye.

How cute are the kokeshi dolls welcoming you to the store? I have a soft spot for kokeshi dolls so it immediately drew me into the store. I grabbed a few poses and noticed that there are also couple and friend poses available. The single poses are from sets that the creator made while she was blogging and will only be available at Pose Fair at a discounted price. Once Pose Fair is over you will not be able to purchase them. The same goes with the reduced price couples and friends poses.

I chose 3 of the singles poses to show you and normally I do a collage but well I just didn’t have the time to do that. The first pose is from the set that pertains to bags. I really loved the set and found it quite unique and refreshing.

The second pose is from the kawaiko-chan set which had some really adorable kawaii poses.

The last pose I chose is from the Vogue pack and this is what you would pick for your more elegant pictures. Since I tend to run around kawaii 90% of the time I just couldn’t stray from my fashion. I really loved the poses in the Vogue pack there were about 6 poses and they were different then what I have seen before on the grid.

Because I want you too!!

Ever sit there with your music playing in the background and there is just this one song that gets stuck in your head and you can’t help but sing it for the remainder of the day. Well for me it was “Because I want you by Placebo.” I wouldn’t say this particular song goes with the post but ehh its a song and I needed a title 🙂

So in the picture above, I was channeling my inner Willow by trying to take a super fancy picture with props and stuff. I even used the fancy windlight settings and everything. Now if you know anything about me, you will know that I love the color purple and I have a soft spot for anything with bats on it. So my main picture had to have the ombre textured bat dress but I didn’t just stop there ohhh no I pulled out all the stops and went crazy with the colors. The hair and the accessories also got a little action. I wanted to showcase all the dresses available so in the photo below I did a small collage with the remaining 5 textures.

The dresses are 165L each or 490L for the fatpack. If you purchase the fatpack, it includes a hud that will allow you to change the texture of the dress so you will not be stuck with several versions of dresses in your inventory. These dresses are currently available at the Suicide Dollz event so come and snag them now or wait until moonbubble moves them to her mainstore. Personally I wouldn’t wait because these dresses are a million times adorable and with my new height they are so sexy!!!!

Now here is a close-up of what I wanted to share with you the most. My brand new skin from [KOOQLA]. It is so beautiful and I was so excited that I could use it on my Maitreya Body via the Omega Hud. I am also wearing a lovely ombre lipstick by Nox which is a new to me store that I will need to keep tabs on more because their stuff is amazing. Oh the hair…..ok I love the hair from LCKY because she has the most vibrant colors that are perfect to coordinate with kawaii looks. My accessories are mostly from Sweet Thing which I had acquired from a gacha sometime last year but I checked her mainstore and you can still grab them in a gacha. Now the collar is a thing of beauty it has stunning roses, it’s RLV 😉 and has several texture change options.

Élan

This is the last few days of Skin Fair 2015, so if you have not had the chance to check it out yet now is your opportunity. Skin Fair will officially close its doors on 3/29/15 and oftentimes it may take some of your favorite skin designers a couple of days to get their products into their main stores. Also, at Skin Fair they may also be offering items at special prices so in order to take advantage of such offerings you should visit Skin Fair before it closes.

In the picture below I am wearing one Plastik’s new skin line “Immortalia” in the Thana tone. When I saw this skin to me it equated the ultimate vampire inspired skin. The skin has veins showing on the topical layers of the skin but its not too overbearing and there are a variety of makeups available at a extra cost to customize your look. You can purchase appliers separately also. I am wearing a eyeshadow by Clemmm’s which is called “At Death’s Door” which is to symbolize you are near death. I chose the Buzzeri eyes available at Kawaii Project because they had this alluring effect just like any vampire’s gaze would normally carry.

In the picture above I am wearing clothing by the following designers Isabeal Jupiter, Damien Fate & Zyrra Falcone. Isabeal is the creating force behind the brand dimma. The tops I am wearing are her new releases and are 90L each. The pants & shoes I am wearing are a collaborative effort by the creative force Damien Fate and Zyrra Falcone. The shoes are from a brand new brand called “FATEstep” and the shoe comes with a hud that allows you to change the shoes appearance to a variety of patterns and colors.

As you can see in all the pictures above I am wearing a tattoo. This tattoo I picked up at skin fair by a new creator to me, the store name is called “.Things.” and they use the Omega Hud System. Which little did I know you had to have the Omega Maitreya Hud Relay in order to actually apply the tattoo. I’m finally catching up with SL’s newest creations thanks to some lovely new friends. I loved this tattoo because it was a full upper body tattoo and the detail was extraordinary.

Breaking the habit!!

Hello Everybody! It has been a while since I have blogged and I am quite sure those whom I blogged for have noticed. I completely apologize for my disappearance but I am dealing with an illness that does limit my time in second life. Anywhooo lets talk about the awesomeness that I am blogging.

When I logged in this past weekend I was happy to see this blogger pack from :::insanya::: since I always adore the items that she creates. I put on the corset and gacha items (bracelet & collar) and then stood there for a while trying to figure out what I had in my inventory that I have not worn yet. I tend to purchase items and never wear them but I am going to change that habit this year. I paired the corset with a skirt by =Kio= which was available at the Creepy Kawaii Fair. I loved how it worked so well with my new Maitreya body. The corset is fitted to work with the Maitreya and SLINK mesh bodies and it comes with a hud so that you can texture change it to any color your desire.

Like many of the other bloggers I had the opportunity to get a sneak peek at Skin Fair this year and it was beautiful. There were a ton of designers that were new to me and some old time favorites like recently rebranded Paper Rabbit, previously known as Ploom Skins. You have so many options when it comes to this skin. I love the freckles option and there are 3 skins available in multiple skin tones. I chose the powder skin tone since I prefer pale skins. Koy @ My Attic

This time around Koy has a nice cute hair for all you ladies out there. It’s perfect for the beach looks or casual looks. I love that it has soft curls and I love the way Steve does the bangs on his hair. Tomorrow is the very last day to pick up this pretty hair at a low cost so come on by and grab it.

I am also wearing clothing by “Lexi Morgan” of [Stellar] designs. The set includes nails and appliers for the Slink Physique Avatar which I happen to be wearing. Tentacles Oh My!

I spent a whole week putting this particular look together and that is pretty rare for me since normally I can put a look together in a few minutes. I absolutely love anything that has to do with octopi. I saw this skirt on another blogger’s flickr stream, and she always has the most beautiful outfits put together her name is Harleyquinn Constantine and this is her blog. I knew that the hair I had received from Koy would be perfect for this look. I believe its the perfect unisex hairstyle. And it comes in a variety of hair colors. But if you are like me you should totally fatpack it because then you will have all the colors.

I finally went to Collabor88 this month, and I noticed that The Secret Store had several different versions of the top that I wanted to grab. So I grabbed a corset version in red because I knew it would go perfectly with my skirt. As I was shopping in Collabor88 I received a group notice from N-Core stating that they had a new pair of shoes as a group gift. I ran and got my lovely new shoes.

I was smiling at myself because I had attained a pretty rocking rockabilly look unintentionally. As you can see I am wearing a hand tattoo which is by Moon Amore, the place where I also got my skirt, I loved the unique beauty of how the octopus was laid out on the hand. This particular hand tattoo comes in a pack of 3 tattoos called the “Waves Pack”. Now Moon Amore is a new store to me and from what I see its still in its beginning phases but it has a lot of potential. If you are into kawaii items it is the perfect place to go. I should mention that the skirt is texture changing via a hud so there are multiple textures available for you to wear. Not to mention the prices are pretty affordable. I also picked up a freckles tattoo layer that I can’t wait to try out soon.

Goth Girl goes Pastel

Alert the media!!! This goth girl is wearing pastel colors again. I picked up this lovely dress at the last Kustom9 event by VinCue and I loved how you can change the undershirt layer to whatever color you desired within the texture changing hud.

So I have been trying to figure out a cute way to showcase the lovely coffin purses by Adore & Abhor and I figured hey I got new pastel stuff. The coffin purses come in a variety of colors that I am sure you will love to match with your kawaii looks.

I coordinated my look with the heels from Reign that were a group gift. I have found myself buying more and more of the shoes by Reign lately so I joined the group to keep up with their releases. From what I understand she does treat her group members to gifts every so often. So if you are looking for great looking shoes at a reasonable price that fit the SLINK Enhanced Feet, then check out Reign.

Well I had to keep my goth edge, so I am wearing these lovely Coffin Earrings and Necklace by Sam Shepherd Designs. I am also wearing the awesome new Melon hair by ploom that is currently available at FaMESHed. I also used the pinup poses by ploom in this post that were available at the Deck.

I Find You’re Gone

Today is the last day of World Goth Faire 2014. You can still acquire all the wonderful items today if you haven’t dropped by.

I have been in somewhat of a social funk lately and the music of Wolfsheim always seems to soothe me when I am having problems. And I thought the music fit appropriately with the Solitude poses by [Black Tulip].

I am wearing a variety of items available at World Goth Faire this year. The outfit is by Sakide and it is called “Excess”. The outfit itself comes with leggings that fit SLINK High Feet and I loved the way Kinu textured the item. Adding a bit of latex allure with a touch of lace accents.

Normally I don’t like wearing anything that bears a crucifix, but I liked the unique style of the heels by Dark Passions. I thought they worked perfectly with the outfit.

Last but not least I want to focus on the makeup available at World Goth Faire this year. There were so many talented creators who provided beautiful makeup. In the photo below I am wearing eye makeup by Pin Me Down and lipstick by Beautiful Freak. I am also wearing a facial piercing by ellabella that appears to look like makeup in this pic. I am also wearing a lovely manicure by Dark Passions, it is the “Shades of Red” set and I love the change in gradient between all the nails in the set. I picked the one that was the most red.

World Goth Faire – Post #2

This is the last week of World Goth Faire and you have until the 1st of June to check out all these amazing items. In this post I am showcasing items from stores that are relatively new to me and also my attempt at a furniture post. Please bare with me because there are a ton of pictures but I hope you enjoy them all!

First I want to start off with the lovely furniture created by 22769~bauwerk.

As you can see the creators behind the brand went above and beyond with their creations. My fave item is the Cthulhu Chair, it features a wide variety of sit poses that are included in all 22769~bauwerk items. The lamp was actually quite intriguing it was a bit more mystical looking for me but added the right gothic allure to the room. Not only did 22769~bauwerk create lovely furniture items, they also created a lovely gothic gazebo.

I also included some lovely items from ~By Nacht~ in the gazebo to add to my Cthulhu decor. I loved the statue and the lamp, each with tentacles popping out everywhere. This is another view of the Gazebo by 22769~bauwerk. You can see the lovely crucifixes adorning the top with a cathedral style top.

Now I am going to switch the focus of this post back to fashion. First I am going to show you these lovely shoes by Lovely Monsters. They work with SLINK feet (Mid Height) and are absolutely adorable. I love how the creator adorned these heels.

I also decided to wear one of the outfits by Lovely Monsters called “Dark Flight” I loved the Dark Blue Accents on the dress. I coordinated the look with bat garters by Squeek!. I will admit I had a pretty rough time working with the resize hud. I am not a huge fan of resize huds in general but it took some tweaking and I finally got the item resized to a pretty close size of my legs. I did love the concept of the garters, I swear put batwings on something and I will swoon all over them.

Last but not least I want to showcase this lovely manicure by ~By Snow~. I have been meaning to drop by her mainstore but I always get sidetracked with my 10 million projects. I’ve seen the items she has created for other events and they are spectacular. I hope this picture does justice to her lovely manicure. I chose Dark Blue nails to match my outfit.
